Question: What's up with white men dating asian women?

Not that I want to date white men (no offense white men), but as I live in NYC, I see this all the time: petting each other on the subway, PDAs out in the middle of the street, etc. I have my own theory about white men and Asian women dating, but am interested in hearing it either from the horse's mouth or hearing other theories. I do think the stereotype of the Asian woman being more docile and subservient, along with the stereotype that she's a "freak in bed " initially attracts some white men to date Asian women. Also, I think Asian womens' body shapes and build are more similar to white women than Latinas and African American women, so it's not so much a far stretch for white men to date them. Yes, I think that love can see no color, but I think a white man can see an Asian woman as his choice to date over other women of color.

Asian women are often very beautiful. They are percieved as being subservient and catering to men but I don't think that is true for the American ones. It is just one more fantasy for men. Something exotic.

Have no idea, i guess its just being in the right place at the right time... im in Cali and i see Mexican- Asian all the time... So yeah interracial relationships are booming and they gonna be diff pairs in diff regions (im mexican my girlfriend is asian) hehe

Im not sure why. I think in a way though that society made asian woman into a fantasy. you know how society influences people...well i think thats what happened here. I think over time society made men fantasize and idolize asian women. pretty much for the same reason they want three somes.

I'm not asian but I have asked some of my friends that are white men and they said they like asians because they know how to cook, clean, and stuff like that. That's what they said.

People need to be more open minded. A person can date whomever they feel, no matter race or creed. Why should it matter about the race. All of us are the same we just were raised in different places and neighborhoods. Color shouldn't matter.

It could be that maybe he is tired of having someone in his life that has had the exact same life exeriences, same cultural background,same religion,same everything. He just wants to see what else is out there that is different from anything he has ever been with.

Well, I live in Asia and all the white men I know do date Asian women, especially over here. I've been here a long, long time, and have observed many situations and have asked some of my friends about it. I don't know the reasons, but I will list what they have said: (DISCLAIMER: I am only reporting what was said to me!!!!) 1. Their bodies (sexually) are smaller and tighter. 2. Their hands are beautiful - long, thin fingers. (some men are really into this) 3. Their breasts are smaller (to some men this is very attractive) 4. They are experts in emotionally making a man feel, well...like a man. (look at the culture, read the history) 5. Their bodies are "lighter " (apparently a real turn-on in some sexual scenarios) 6. Here in China, they are given strong encouragement by their families to "get " a foreigner. Even to the point of receiving accolades from their friends for breaking up a marriage. 7. They manage to accomplish all the above while looking and acting extremely shy and even aloof. (for a man who likes the "hunt ", it's irresistable) On the other hand, to be fair, my brother, who has lived here for several years and dated exclusively Asian women, says that: 1. After a while, it gets pretty old. (being used for sex) 2. While they may be particularly attractive, he says, it's the women raised in western countries who end up being far more daring and willing to try new things sexually 3. The bottom line is: (according to him) They want money and a foreign passport. That gets old, as well.

I'm a leg guy and if I were going to go for a girl with a killer pair of legs, asian women are notorious for being the running champ, that's the main reason I'd dig an asian chick and everything else would be a plus.
