Question: Why do white men get angry when black men date asian women?

I am an Asian girl and I am dating a black man. I brought it up to him that I noticed white men staring and it seemed like they were angry that I was with a black man and it was just weird. So I told my bf to take notice cause if both of us notice it then it couldn't just be my imagination or just a few incidents. So he started to pay attention and noticed the same thing and even confronted one of the guys staring very hard and the guy said I just think Asian women should stick with Asian men. Its weird Asian men NEVER stare and get angry.While it happens many many times with white men. What gives? Why do white men think they own me? I can date who I want. And they shouldn't care.

White men typically date Asian women more and they probably see you all as their "territory ". Everyone can be a pit possessive when it comes to who can date who and the whole race thing. Nevertheless, my sons won't be allowed to date outside of their race, so this doesn't much concern me.

Why do you care what people think? just enjoy being with your boyfriend.. the only reason the " white " men as u say stare at you is because they wanna be the ones fcukin you.. they dont think they own you gimme a break .. you arent tht spectacular im sure.. you are dating who you want so enjoy yourself

If you are comfortable with your relationship, why worry about what you think others are thinking? Pay attention to each other. There certainly are bigots in the world regardless of their race. They tend to see what they perceive as the negatives of other races. Be your own positives.

Good question. Perhaps when someone internalizes the idea that they are somehow better than someone Else of a different race, and they see that person with someone or something that they can have, like a spoiled child they get angry.

You must live in a place where there is not a lot of racial differences...I live in Minnesota and we have a huge asian population...no one here would care at all who you date...I am thinking you live somewhere that people don't accept interracial relationships...thats not really common anymore... you can date whoever you want...don't worry about what other people think...don't let other people get to you...

I could relate to your story because I also had experience some awkwardness from all types of people.Having Asian female friend and going places like shopping it was weird because some of the general public will stare. I guess people don't see how someone from the Asian community could hang out with someone from the Black community but we all just human(LOL).I have some many stories from people reaction living someone who is Asian.

My boyfriend is white and trust me he DOESNT give 2 fooks who asian women date. Why do you feel the need to assume all white men do give a care? Not all white men date or are attracted to asian women. Date who you want to date, and please dont give a care what other people think. We are free to date whoever we want, regardless of race.

Because many white men are territorial. Many think that they rule in America and so they have the right to all of the women that they desire. American men tend to have a morbid sense of entitlement when it comes to this country.

Well , i understand how you feel, dont you know that all the white people in the whole world dont hate we black people and they dont love either, the only issue is that they are afraid and very jealous of us. expectially spanish and agentine men, when ever a white sees a black man with a woman who is not black ,the hatred will come and they are always angry because if a woman is dating a black she cant ever go with white anymore ,so this issue gives them the gut to jealous. i see many of them here in bangkok trying to spoil us in front thai women, the whites will tell every woman that dont sleep with black men because they have hiv aids, just trying to spoil our image.thay are racists. im from ghana studying in bangkok. where are you from?
