Question: I don't want to date this white guy because he dated asian women in the past, please read.?

Its like a gay guy wanting to go straight....how many women would give him a chance? Anyway I have a thing for white guys and I have no shame about it! He looks very cute, he has blue eyes, and long brown hair and a nice smile and a gentleman! I found out he dated nothing but asian women.............so why would he want to date me? I wouldn't care if he dated nothing but white women...but to date asian women and then black women thats a huge step!!! I found out she broke up with him for her parents. Her parents said they would kick her out of their home, would no longer pay for college and take away a sports car they bought for her good grades and they would no longer talk to her again if she dated a white man!!! She left him for a another asian which left him broken hearted...badly...he cried over the phone about it, but was ready to move on. Also on top of this she still calls for when she wants or needs money...so she uses him...........um....if he was to date me I wouldn't like him giving away money to another women. So I lost all interest...really. Was I right for ignoring his calls or wrong? Both reasons! Makes sense...rebound.... |

Did you ignore his calls because of the Asian thing, or because he's spineless? You seem to be confused on this point. Regarding race, you need to just trust that he's into you and go with it. But if he's just been dumped you're the rebound girl. You don't want that. And you *really* don't want to be involved with a guy who's still hung up on someone else, as he obviously is. He gives her money? He's a misguided soul and definitely not boyfriend material. Stay away for that reason, not because he dated Asian girls. |

You are right.He obviously has a fetish and he'd still be much into asians even if he is with you.Also, he obviously can't get over his ex if he is still taking her calls. I am white and I'd be suspicious of a white man who only dated black or asian women too, I'd think self-hater automatically.Anyways, race thing aside, you are right to not want him due to the fact that his ex uses him and he allows it. That is nothing but trouble. |

No, I don't blame you for ignoring him...He may SAY that he's ready to move on, but if he is still giving her money and crying about them breaking up, then he is not over her yet. It sounds to me like he has too many strings attached to her still. |

I understand your feeling. If he had only dated asian women but no one else, you should be cautious. He came to you may be just for seeking a temporary comfort for his pain, in other word, some day when he meet another asian woman who he likes, he would be easily to fall in love with her. I may be wrong. About the money thing. I dont think she uses him. It shows that both him and his ex still have emotions for each other and care about each other. |
