Question: Exactly how big does a woman have to be for the title of bbw (big beautiful woman)? (Posted by: lakemoonstar on 2007-02-01 10:14:59) My sister and I were just curious after watching a weird Dr. Phil episode as to what size you have to be to be considered a BBW (big beautiful woman)? I'm a petite size 14 (5 feet 4 inches), she's an average size 2 (5 feet 6 inches). Sometimes I'm told that I'm plus size, other times I'm told that I'm average. Obviously you'd have to be big and beautiful, but what size does the term Big refer to? Thanks for input. I guess I'm not really big then at 5' 4 " and 157 lbs, just wanted to know what the size difference is. |

Posted by: ryan m on 2007-02-01, 11:12:06 Its all a scam usually the bigger the woman the more likely it will be a bbw. they dont use the term thick anymore because a woman to me that is thick is someone that has meat on her bones but not fat and she is full in all the right places like her hips, butt, and breasts. Most pictures that i ve seen of these so called bbw's are someone your typical joe would just plain call fat. BBW's is a fat persons term to make them feel beautiful at being overweight. |

Posted by: Guinea on 2007-02-02, 08:51:53 I personally think a BBW would be considered anything larger than the measurements 42-32-42 (which is about a size 14). So a size 16 plus would be a BBW. You aren't quite there yet. Although size 14 is the average size in America, the average woman is actually slightly overweight, so it makes sense that anything above a size 14 is plus size and therefore considered a BBW. Posted by: imitation700mb on 2007-02-03, 11:59:04 I'm a 27 year old, 190lb male FA (Fat Admirer) from the UK and in my experience, a BBW starts at around 300 pounds. A SSBBW (Supersize Big Beautiful Woman) begins at 420-430 pounds and can be anywhere up to 800, 900 pounds, or even more. I have never found the upper limit.
