Why do older black women not like to be referred to as "girls"?
I have noticed that older white women take it as a compliment, and I have always called all older women girls, no matter what color, as an informal way to address women in a friendly manner. Today, however, I was rudely corrected by a black woman, she told me she didn't like that, and that " It had something to do with history, but evidently I was to young to know this." I felt embarrased. Will someone tell me the story that I am " Too young" to know about?

I am tired of all the questions dissing black men so here is my question .......'Why does this Generation of black women lack the values and virtues that older black women have'?I am very serious and please dont give me the pro feminism talk about this being 2008 and that independant woman crapI have aunts and Grandmothers who have helped raise and take care of me and they are very virtuous. They believed in standing by their men through thick and thin and not giving up on them everytime the wind blows, they were more loving,supportive, and more caring in general.They also know very well how to cook, clean,and take care of children which they did very well and raised their kids with values and in church. This is how a believe a black woman should be and I think many of these young women have their values all screwed up.All you hear nowadays are weak,selfish, and immoral women saying, 'Independant woman this, independant woman that' 'I dont need a man I can do for myself' and blah blah b lahMy aunts and my Grandmother could do for themselves too but their values and love didnt allow them to only do for themselves
Why do some older black women laugh really weird?
There is an old black lady who lives across the street, and laughs really weird during conversations. I can hair her from all the way here. Why does she laughs like this " HaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa " ?

I've been living here here in euclid,oh for about a one year and a half i'm a 33 year old black woman and try
to live i use to live in the basement of this apt when i first moved here no one complaint of course i stay to my self if someone speak i speak back vice versa. so their's a white girl wholives down in the apt where i used to live she's been living here for about 2 months she's a white girl but their someone gay there with her? the land lord he white. she sent thew police to my apt about my music which is playing from my computer last month i confronted her and told her i never had any problem about my music until she moved here i told her at 33 year old i got common sense she says" she look older than 33 years old" i tried not to say anything that would hurt her feeling because she just a sloppy white girl and I slim and dress real nice and neat ? could she be gay or just jealous? i ask the landlord why this person won't confort me he say's because this person can call him is this harrassment from this girl?
